Non-Profit Executive Director Position

Camp Quality Texas, a non-profit organization that provides a free summer camp for children with cancer, is seeking a leader to serve as Executive Director. The Executive Director manages the strategic, programmatic, and financial operations for Camp Quality. Based on the skills needed for this position and existing skills within the volunteer camp organizing committee, there is a strong focus on leadership and fundraising experiences.

Where is our current Executive Director, Anneliese Kulakofsky, going? She will still be involved with the Texas camp and attend as many local events as possible, but has been asked to be Board President for the Camp Quality USA Board of Directors starting in October 2017. She is honored to serve in this new capacity and is planning to take on a lesser role a the Texas camp for a while.

Camp Quality is a summer camping experience and year-round support program for children with cancer. Many difficult physical and emotional challenges face a child, and his or her family, when battling cancer. At our summer camps we have developed an important type of “therapy” . . . we like to call it Smile Therapy! With a laugh in their hearts and smiles on their faces, Camp Q.
