Types of Overnight Summer Camp Volunteers

Companions - Overnight Summer Camp

What really makes Camp Quality unique is that a one-on-one companion is assigned to every child who registers for summer camp.  Companions must be a minimum of 18 years of age.   Their dedication and commitment is the backbone of our program. A camper's "best friend for the week" is their Camp Quality Companion.  The caring and supportive relationship between the pair begins at camp, and continues to be fostered throughout the year.

Volunteer Camp Staff - Overnight Summer Camp

A variety of staff personnel are needed for the week of camp to run smoothly.  If you are interested in helping for the week of camp yet are not able to commit to the entire week as a Companion, we still need you!

A sample of positions needed are: crafts, kitchen, lifeguards, cleaning, grounds & maintenance, programs, golf cart drivers, snacks, gopher, pick up tuxes , set up & clean up

Teen Staff Application Process- Overnight Summer Camp

Teen Staff consists of 16-17 year olds who are too young to be Companions yet want to help at camp.  Teen Staff members stay at camp and have responsibilities similar to Companions and volunteer staff.  We accept 8-10 Teens for our week.  We reserve some  of the places for our former campers who want to give back.

Mandatory Training Date for all Companions, Staff, Volunteers, and Teen Staff

There will be two training dates for overnight camp this year.  You Must attend one to be eligable to volunteer at the overnight summer camp.
