One of Camp Quality Illinois’ largest year-round events happened this past Sunday, March 8th. Camp Quality families attended the Wolves hockey game at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.
The Chicago Wolves battled the Rockford Ice Hogs giving fans an exciting game with a Chicago Wolves comeback in the 3rd quarter. The Icehogs dominated the arena for the first two quarters, but the Camp Quality cheering squad helped the Wolves win in the end with a three (3) to one (1) final score.
Before the game families had lunch and time to catch up. Jasmine Renwick, Camp Quality Social Media Coordinator, has attended the Wolves game for several years, “It is always great to catch up and see the families of the children we take care of during the week of camp,” says, Renwick, “it gets everyone even more excited for the upcoming camp week in August!”
While Camp Quality’s main attraction is certainly the week of camp in early August, we are looking to get families more involved in our year-round events. These events allow families to grow and create new friendships with people going through similar life experiences. The Wolves game is only one of five events throughout the year that is completely free to Camp Quality families. Others include our family day event and camp reunion in the Fall as well as our teen weekend in the Winter, and family overnight and wolves game in the Spring.
