Our Programs
Our summer camp always takes place during the first full week of August. Campers, ages 4-17, are children with a current or past cancer diagnosis. Campers spend the week paired one-on-one with a volunteer counselor, called a companion.

Teen Weekend is a winter event, usually during the month of February. Campers ages 13 & over are invited to spend the weekend with other teens at a campground in Newark, Illinois called Dickson Valley.

Our family day at the Chicago Wolves is a family and volunteer event, usually during March each year. Campers and their immediate family members are invited for lunch and watching a Chicago Wolves hockey game! Staff is also invited and may bring guests with them for the cost of the ticket.

Our family overnight event is for campers, ages 12 & under, and their immediate family members. It is held in the spring time, usually in April. Families are booked in a suite at the Spring Hill Suites in Warrenville, IL. Activities rotate over the years and have included things such as family photo shoots at a selfie studio, Medieval Times, and DuPage Children’s Museum.

Fall family event is for our campers, their immediate families, and our staff members. A daytime activity is planned like laser tag or bowling where families can spend time together and have some much needed fun!

Our reunion dinner is held around Thanksgiving time each year and allows a chance for campers, their families, and staff to spend a night of dinner and dancing before the busy holiday season.
