Our Programs

We offer multiple activities throughout the year at multiple locations across the state. Click on the activities below to get more details.

Our summer camp always takes place during the first full week of August. Campers, ages 5-17, are children with a current or past cancer diagnosis. Campers spend the week paired one-on-one with a volunteer counselor, called a companion.

Cancer Camp Events for Kids

CAMP IN is a week-long virtual summer camp for campers and their siblings ages 5 to 17. Participants will receive a backpack filled with daily activities and supplies that follow the camp theme. There will be daily live stream sessions during the week for participants to meet other campers across the country as well as a video library for more fun activities.

Teen Weekend is a winter event in March. Campers ages 13 & over are invited to spend the weekend with other teens at a Cedar Lake, IN

Cancer Camp Events for Kids

Our family day at the Chicago Wolves is a family and volunteer event, usually during March each year. Campers and their immediate family members are invited for lunch and watching a Chicago Wolves hockey game! Staff is also invited and may bring guests with them for the cost of the ticket.

Cancer Camp Events for Kids

Our family overnight event is for campers, ages 12 & under, and their immediate family members. It is held in the spring time, usually in April. Families are booked in a suite at the Spring Hill Suites in Warrenville, IL. Activities rotate over the years and have included things such as family photo shoots at a selfie studio, Medieval Times, and DuPage Children’s Museum.

Cancer Camp Events for Kids

Fall family event is for our campers, their immediate families, and our staff members. A daytime activity is planned like laser tag or bowling where families can spend time together and have some much needed fun!

Cancer Camp Events for Kids

Our reunion dinner is held around Thanksgiving time each year and allows a chance for campers, their families, and staff to spend a night of dinner and dancing before the busy holiday season.
